We are seeking a skilled SEO Writer to create compelling, high-quality, and optimized content that enhances our online presence and drives organic traffic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and a deep understanding of SEO best practices.

This role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. Your work will be pivotal in engaging with our target audience, driving quality leads, and contributing significantly to Uscreen’s growth and success.

🚀 What you’ll do:

  • Develop high-quality, long-form, SEO-friendly content for our website and blog.
  • Conduct keyword and SERP research to identify relevant search terms and phrases.
  • Strategically incorporate keywords into content to improve search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create a cohesive content strategy.
  • Optimize on-page elements such as titles, meta descriptions, headers, and images.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure it is free from errors and aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor content performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
  • Work with web developers to ensure technical SEO aspects are implemented.

🔥 Who you are:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as an SEO writer or in a similar role, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research tools, and search engine algorithms.
  • Proven track record in creating content that improves search engine rankings and drives organic traffic.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce compelling, high-quality content.
  • Strong research skills (primary and secondary), capable of conducting thorough market and audience research to inform content creation and inject content with unique insights.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Demonstrated ability in project coordination, working effectively with cross-functional teams including design, video production, and external partners.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to produce engaging content.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Creative and strategic thinking ability, with a knack for generating innovative content ideas and storytelling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience in the creator economy, demonstrating an understanding of its dynamics, opportunities, and culture.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI for content generation, with a focus on effective AI prompting techniques for the best quality output.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with basic HTML/CSS.

How long is the recruitment process?

Depending on how far you get in the process, it can take anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks, varying on the seniority of the position, as well as the volume of applications for that particular post.

Why do you ask for a video introduction?

As a remote company, we’re aware of the perks but also the drawbacks of remote work. At Uscreen, we believe that putting a face to the voice is imperative for a healthy working environment. We see the video introduction as a symbolic first step.

Can I apply for multiple positions at once?

Will I be required to travel?

This depends on your location and job requirements. If any travel is needed, this will be specified in the job description and pointed out in the recruitment process. If you have an impairments prohibiting you from traveling and it might affect your work, please mention it in the cover letter.

Can I work from anywhere?

Remote work offers additional flexibility in choosing your own working environment such as workstation, lighting, ambient, etc. However, to stay efficient as a remote worker, we require all our team members to have a quiet space dedicated and optimized for work.

What time zone should I be in?

We have team members across the world, in different time zones. However, we do require an overlap with our headquarters in Washington, DC. This overlap will be defined for each position separately and can be anywhere from 4 to 8 hours depending on the position.
