The Role
We’re hiring a Director, People to join our leadership team and build our people function from the ground up. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an HR leader who is excited to bring structure, clarity, and programs that support a global, remote workforce while driving real business outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and implement scalable People Ops programs across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, goal-setting, and feedback.
- Shape compensation and compliance practices, ensuring competitive systems and U.S./global compliance
- Design engagement practices that strengthen culture and productivity across a fully remote, distributed team.
- Directly perform full-cycle talent acquisition duties while also managing relationships with external recruiters as needed. Help elevate candidate experience and position Uscreen as a top destination for employment in our space.
- Coach and advise managers and leaders with empathy and pragmatism. Handle sensitive issues with professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion.
- Connect people strategy to business outcomes, supporting profitable and disciplined growth.
What We’re Looking For
- 6-10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in tech, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses.
- Meaningful contribution during a period of significant organizational scale and growth.
- Expertise with core areas like performance management, recruiting, compensation, onboarding, compliance, and supporting remote/global teams.
- High EQ and a personable style, with the ability to connect with a smart and emotionally intelligent leadership team.
- Relishes balancing strategy with hands-on execution – prefers sleeves permanently rolled up.
- Based in the U.S. with the ability to work Eastern or Central hours.
